Frequently asked

Yes, same-day delivery is available across Vaughan: get your order in before 3 PM, Monday to Saturday, and we build your arrangement by hand that same afternoon in our Toronto studio, then drive it north for delivery to your Vaughan address that day. The flow runs identically for a Woodbridge front porch and a desk inside the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre towers.

Vaughan orders placed on a Sunday or a statutory holiday ship on the next delivery day, since our routes run Monday through Saturday only. The same is true once the 3 PM cutoff has passed. For Maple or Concord, sending it over the weekend sets you up nicely for a Monday arrival.

Cindy's Flowers covers the whole of Vaughan from our Toronto studio, Woodbridge included, with an order in by 3 PM heading up Highway 400 the same afternoon. What needs a little forethought here isn't the distance, it's the buildings: for a condo tower near the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, add the buzzer code and your recipient's phone number at checkout, since concierge desks can usually accept flowers on a resident's behalf. Out toward Kleinburg, a gate code or a landmark for a long driveway helps the driver find the right door on the first pass.

Get-well flowers reach Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital on Major Mackenzie Drive, along with homes and workplaces right across Vaughan. Hospitals generally route flowers through the main reception desk rather than straight to the room, so give the patient's full name and unit in your delivery notes, and check with the ward first for intensive-care stays, where fresh flowers are often restricted. Beat the 3 PM cutoff for arrival the same day; a bright get-well bouquet or a low-fuss potted plant both hold up well on the trip.

When a chosen stem has sold out for the season, we swap in a comparable bloom of the same value or higher, kept close in look, colour and overall feel, and styled to fit the occasion. A Kleinburg anniversary piece still turns up looking like the photo you chose, even if one out-of-season bloom quietly gives way to a near match from what's freshest that week.

Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are the two dates every florist plans the year around, and Vaughan feels the squeeze from Thornhill to Kleinburg. Same-day still holds on both if your order lands before 3 PM, Monday to Saturday, but reserving a day or two ahead is the surest way to lock in your delivery date and your top pick of stems.

Plants for Woodbridge and Kleinburg tables

Saturday mornings in Woodbridge have a rhythm to them. There's a christening to dress, an anniversary table to set, a nonna whose name is on the cake. Vaughan's Italian-Canadian families have long marked the big moments out loud, and flowers are part of how they do it. Each occasion sets its own brief: soft pastel mixed bouquets for the guest of honour, something fuller and brighter when the whole family is coming. The bouquet is hand-tied the morning it travels and arrives wrapped, so whoever answers the door just trims the stems into their own vase.

Move north and the mood shifts. Kleinburg is quieter, the kind of village where a single arrangement for the McMichael gardens or a country dinner reads better than a crowd of them. Maple and Concord, threaded by Jane Street and Rutherford Road, are family streets, and family streets mean new babies and get-well visits. A cheerful mixed bouquet or an easy potted plant lands at a townhouse one day and a room at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital on Major Mackenzie Drive the next. When loss comes, tradition still reaches for white lilies and quiet arrangements that carry well to a home or a service. Roses keep their steady year-round place for the birthdays and the anniversaries nobody forgets.

Orchids for the towers, blooms for the seasons

Then there's the south end, where the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre has grown a real downtown around the Line 1 subway. Office gifts ask a different question than a kitchen table does, and the classic answer for a reception desk or a corner office is long-lasting orchids and plants: a potted orchid holds its poise for weeks with a little care, not days, while a cut bouquet would fade by Friday. We deliver them into the towers, and out to receptions near Vaughan Mills besides.

The calendar pulls its own thread through the work. Spring tulips for the first warm week, peonies in their short, prized window, lush mixed blends through summer, then the deeper tones as the year turns. We're a Toronto florist with no shop counter in Vaughan, and the model fits a city built on driveways and doorbells: a quick order, a fresh arrangement, a knock at the right door that afternoon. Not sure what fits the moment? See what's blooming now, pick the one that feels right, and we'll have it made and on its way the same day.

Delivery zones

Cindy's Flowers delivers hand-tied bouquets to every community in Vaughan, Ontario, including Woodbridge, Maple, Kleinburg and Thornhill, plus the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and the busy stretch around Vaughan Mills. That spans the local postal prefixes L4H, L4J, L4K, L4L and L6A.

Vaughan is north of our Toronto studio, so the cutoff matters here. Orders placed before 3 PM, Monday through Saturday, go out the same afternoon up Highway 400 and across Highway 7 for delivery today. Anything that lands after mid-afternoon moves to the next delivery day. For a hospital, condo or office address, add the unit, ward or concierge details at checkout so our driver reaches the right door.

If you're sending flowers just over the boundary, we also deliver to neighbouring Brampton and Richmond Hill.
