Frequently asked

Flowers ordered before 3 PM, Monday through Saturday, can reach a North York address the same day. Once your order is in, we arrange the bouquet by hand at our Toronto studio that afternoon and run it north ourselves, up the DVP and 401, to a Willowdale condo or a Yonge Street office near Mel Lastman Square.

Deliveries to North York run Monday to Saturday, with the studio closed on Sundays and stat holidays. Anything that comes in during those off days, or past the 3 PM cutoff, is built and dispatched on the following working day. So a Sunday request bound for Don Mills heads out first thing Monday morning.

All of North York, Ontario is inside the Cindy's Flowers delivery range, anchored on the Willowdale high-rise core and served daily from our Toronto studio. The practical wrinkle here is the condo towers: along Yonge and Sheppard, most buildings route deliveries through a concierge desk, so include the unit number and buzzer code in your order notes and the driver can hand the bouquet over even when nobody answers upstairs.

Cindy's Flowers delivers bright recovery bouquets and low-maintenance potted orchids to patients at North York General and Sunnybrook, plus comfort flowers to homes in Hoggs Hollow or Bayview Village. Place your get-well order before 3 PM, Monday to Saturday, and it goes out the same day. Hospitals generally route flowers through the front desk or reception, so add the patient's full name and unit to your delivery notes, and check with the ward before sending to an ICU, since some restrict fresh flowers.

An out-of-season stem in your North York order gets swapped for a comparable flower of the same or higher value, keeping the look, colour and overall feel true to what you chose and to the occasion behind it. A white sympathy piece headed to North York General stays serene and pale; a cheerful Willowdale birthday mix stays just as lively.

For a North York Valentine's Day or Mother's Day order, same-day delivery still works if you beat the 3 PM cutoff, Monday to Saturday. Those two holidays are the floral calendar's biggest days everywhere flowers are sold, though, and northbound traffic on the 401 and DVP thickens with everyone else's deliveries, so booking a day or two ahead is the smart move for Don Mills or Bayview Village.

Orchids for the Yonge office towers

Every neighbourhood has its own way of marking a moment, and North York's runs through orchids. Walk the office floors above Mel Lastman Square and you'll see them everywhere: a single potted orchid on a desk, quietly outlasting the week it was given for. There's a reason for that. A cut bouquet is a beautiful Friday; an orchid is a beautiful month, especially the ones that reward a little care. That's the logic behind sending orchids and plants up to the Yonge Street towers: a desk gift should still be alive at the next quarterly.

Roses tell the other half of the story. A closed deal, a tenth anniversary in a Bayview Village condo, a promotion someone's been chasing for years, those still call for classic roses, arranged by hand and built to make someone stop in the doorway. Every bouquet leaves our studio hand-tied and wrapped for the drive north; all the recipient does is give the stems a fresh trim and a vase of their own. We design each one for the moment it's meant for, built to your order rather than grabbed off a rack.

Roses, and the Willowdale moments between

Spring loosens things up. Birthdays and just-because gestures multiply across Willowdale and Henry Farm, and a bright hand-tied mix feels right, something cheerful for no reason at all. Along the Yonge and Bathurst corridor, the community anchored by the JRCC keeps its own calendar of quiet celebrations and thank-yous between neighbours, the kind of occasions that call for a tasteful, understated arrangement.

Then there are the harder days. Near North York General and the homes of Hoggs Hollow, a sympathy arrangement asks for a different kind of care, and soft white lilies remain the traditional choice. We slow down for those. Getting the tone right matters more than getting it fast, though same-day delivery is there when a family needs flowers to arrive today.

What ties it together is that none of it is generic. A new baby in Don Mills, an apology in Flemingdon Park, a Friday lift for someone running on fumes in Willowdale, each one gets built fresh, for that person, that week. North York is busy and varied and a little understated, and the flowers that suit it tend to be the same: real, lasting, and chosen with thought. Browse the current lineup and live pricing on all flowers, pick what fits the moment, and we'll do the rest.

Delivery zones

Cindy's Flowers delivers hand-tied bouquets across North York's full M2, M3, M6 and M9 postal stretch, from the Yonge Street condo corridor out to the residential pockets near the river. Coverage breaks down like this:

  • Willowdale and Bayview Village (M2), the high-rise core around North York Centre
  • Don Mills and Flemingdon Park (M3), east toward Highway 404
  • Bathurst Manor and Armour Heights (M6), off Allen Road
  • The western edge near Humber River Health (M9)

Afternoon traffic on the 401 and DVP slows our northbound run, so a mid-afternoon order is the safe call. Lock in same-day delivery by 3 PM, and anything later goes out the next working day, Monday to Saturday. We also deliver across the city line to neighbouring Etobicoke and Vaughan on the same daily routes.
