Frequently asked

Place your order before 3 PM any weekday or Saturday, and that afternoon we hand-tie the bouquet you picked at our Toronto studio, then send it up Highway 404 to land on your Aurora doorstep the same day. Every L4G address is covered, from the Wellington Street core to the Hills of St. Andrew. Later orders travel the following delivery day.

An Aurora order placed on a Sunday or a statutory holiday heads out on our next working day, typically Monday. Saturday itself is a normal delivery day, since our runs cover Monday through Saturday; only Sundays and holidays pause. A bouquet ordered Friday afternoon still reaches a kitchen near Town Park or Regency Acres before the weekend begins, while a Sunday request settles into the start of the new week.

All of Aurora falls inside Cindy's Flowers' delivery area, from the historic Yonge-and-Wellington core to every street in the L4G postal zone, served from our Toronto studio. The more useful thing to know is what helps on Aurora's estate streets: along the long driveways of Aurora Estates and the Hills of St. Andrew, a gate code or a note naming the door you prefer saves the driver a guess. Add those details at checkout and the flowers land at the right door.

Cindy's Flowers delivers to Southlake Regional Health Centre, Aurora's closest hospital, just north in Newmarket. Hospitals typically route flowers through the front desk or reception, so include the patient's full name and unit in the delivery notes; some wards, intensive care among them, restrict flowers, so check with the ward for those. Order by 3 PM for a same-day arrival. A bright get-well bouquet lifts a recovery room, while soft white lilies fit a quieter bedside visit.

When a stem you picked for an Aurora bouquet sells out, we swap in a comparable flower of the same value or higher, chosen to echo the look, colour, and feeling of your original choice. Peonies and several seasonal favourites run out from time to time, so a few stems may change. A bouquet bound for Aurora Estates or Bayview Wellington still arrives looking the way you imagined it.

A day or two of lead time is the safe play for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, the two dates that tower over every florist's calendar, in Aurora as much as anywhere. Same-day arrival is still possible when your order is in before 3 PM, yet ordering early is the surer bet for a set delivery date near the Aurora Cultural Centre or out in Bayview Wellington.

Why Aurora chooses peonies

Aurora keeps a steady rhythm, and flowers tend to mark its turns. A Saturday morning crowd drifts through the Town Park farmers' market on Wells Street, a few of them carrying something for a host or a birthday later that day. Couples get engaged over a long weekend and start planning a summer garden wedding near the heritage core, where Yonge meets Wellington. New grandparents wait on news from a maternity ward. A neighbour drops off something quiet after a loss. The occasions almost name themselves, and they shape what we make.

For the milestone ones, peonies do most of the talking. They have a short, prized season in late spring and early summer, which is exactly when Aurora fills with engagement parties and anniversaries, so seasonal peonies, which reward a little care, are the flower that stretch of the calendar calls for around the Aurora Cultural Centre and its restored 1886 schoolhouse. Lush, full-headed, gone by August. People know to ask early.

Milestones marked on a historic main street

Aurora's nearest hospital is Southlake Regional Health Centre, just north in Newmarket, and it sits right on our northbound route. A new baby on the maternity floor calls for something soft and cheerful. A friend recovering from surgery wants colour by the window. And for the harder days, white sympathy lilies carry a calm that few other flowers manage, which is why tradition reaches for them at a condolence or a service. We design each one by hand the morning it goes out, a hand-tied bouquet wrapped for the trip, so it arrives looking just cut; the recipient only trims the stems and slips them into a vase of their own.

Beyond the big occasions, plenty of Aurora flowers are sent for no reason at all. Out in Bayview Wellington and the Hills of St. Andrew, on the family streets off St. John's Sideroad, an ordinary Friday is reason enough for a bright mixed bouquet to land on a kitchen table. Honestly, those are some of our favourites to build. No script, just colour, picked to suit whoever opens the door.

What you choose online is what shows up, made fresh and sent same-day across Aurora when your order is in before 3 PM. Want to see what the season is giving us this week? Browse the current bouquets for live availability and pricing, and we will take it from there.

Delivery zones

Cindy's Flowers delivers hand-tied bouquets across Aurora, Ontario, reaching every neighbourhood inside the L4G postal zone same-day on orders placed by mid-afternoon, Monday to Saturday.

Areas we reach regularly:

  • Aurora Village, Aurora Heights, and the Wellington Street downtown core
  • Bayview Wellington, Bayview Northeast, and the Hills of St. Andrew
  • Aurora Highlands, Aurora Estates, Aurora Grove, and Regency Acres
  • Shining Hill and the streets along St. John's Sideroad and Leslie Street

The 3 PM cutoff matters here because Aurora sits about 50 km north of our Toronto studio, up Highway 404. Beat it and your flowers arrive today; order later and we deliver next-day. The same northbound run also lets us serve neighbouring Newmarket and Richmond Hill, so a single order can reach family across all three. Email hello@cindysflowers.ca with any address questions.
