Cindy's Flowers delivers flowers same-day across Burlington, from the Aldershot lakeshore and Spencer Smith Park to Millcroft and Alton Village in the north. Order before 3 PM, Monday to Saturday, and your bouquet arrives the same afternoon. Seasonal peonies, lilies, roses and mixed bouquets start at $49 CAD, each hand-tied in our Toronto studio the day it ships, then driven west along the QEW. Burlington sits inside our GTA-wide delivery area, so the waterfront and the north end are one and the same run.

Frequently asked

Place your order before 3 PM any day from Monday through Saturday, and it reaches your Burlington address that afternoon, whether the door is in Aldershot or up in Alton Village. We hand-tie each bouquet to order in our Toronto studio once the order lands, then a driver runs it west along the QEW the same day.

A Burlington order placed on a Sunday or a statutory holiday goes out on our next delivery day, since we deliver Monday through Saturday and close Sundays and holidays. The same applies to anything that lands after the 3 PM cutoff. If a Roseland birthday falls on a Sunday, order for Saturday instead and the flowers arrive a day early, freshly made and ready for the party.

Cindy's Flowers delivers across all of Burlington, from the Aldershot lakeshore up to Alton Village at the city's northern edge. What speeds things up most is detail on the address itself. For the condo towers around Brant Street and Spencer Smith Park, put the buzzer code and unit number in your order notes, and mention the concierge desk if the building has one, so the driver isn't stuck in the lobby with a finished bouquet and no way up. Detached houses need less: a line about a side entrance or a shaded porch is plenty.

Yes, we deliver to Joseph Brant Hospital on Lakeshore Road just east of Aldershot. Hospitals typically route flowers through the front desk or reception rather than straight to the room, so include the patient's full name, unit and room number in your order notes to help staff match the bouquet quickly. A few wards, intensive care among them, restrict fresh flowers, so check with the unit before sending. Soft white lilies or a brighter get-well bouquet both settle nicely into a recovery room.

When a stem sells out before your Burlington bouquet is made, we substitute a comparable flower of equal or greater value, chosen to echo the look, colour and mood of the original. Seasonal peonies in particular disappear quickly at the height of their short run, so a Millcroft new-baby arrangement stays every bit as soft and full as the one you selected, with nothing lost in size.

Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are the two dates the whole floral world plans its year around, and Burlington feels them as much as anywhere. Same-day still works on either one if your order is in before 3 PM, but a day or two of lead time is the surest way to hold your first-choice stems and a dependable slot, whether the delivery is bound for downtown or out to The Orchard.

What Burlington reaches for, season by season

Burlington keeps its own calendar, and flowers mark most of it. There's the June wedding on a backyard slope above the lake, the new arrival announced to the whole street, the quiet sympathy bouquet left at a front door near Joseph Brant Hospital. Friday afternoons bring the smaller moments too. Somebody downtown decides their kitchen counter deserves something fresh, and that's reason enough.

In a lake town of long marriages and new subdivisions, the occasions almost name themselves. Long-settled families in Roseland, where mature trees shade streets that slope toward the water, mark anniversaries and milestones with intent. Late each spring, that means peonies, all blowsy heads and short, prized season, the bloom a big Burlington celebration seems made for. They reward a little care, so we tie them fresh the day they ship, and garden roses make a natural partner when a couple has been together long enough to want both.

Near the Spencer Smith Park waterfront and the cafés along Brant Street, the mood runs lighter and more spontaneous. A birthday. A thank-you. A just-because armful of mixed stems that brightens a condo table on a grey lake morning. Up in newer northern pockets like Millcroft and Alton Village, growing households set the rhythm, the kind of streets where a cheerful bouquet on a cul-de-sac doorstep usually means a new baby or a small win worth marking.

Peonies for joy, lilies for the harder days

Not every Burlington bouquet celebrates, and we treat the quieter ones with the same care. Soft white lilies are the flower tradition reaches for in sympathy and get-well arrangements, the kind that head toward Lakeshore Road and Joseph Brant Hospital when words run short. There's a craft to a sympathy bouquet that peonies-and-roses never demands: restraint, calm, a stillness that reads right in a hospital room or at a service. We build those slowly, stem by stem.

Everything we send is designed fresh for the moment it marks, not pulled from a cooler of look-alikes. Cindy and the team make each arrangement the day it heads west, so a downtown order and a north Burlington one arrive equally just-finished. Each travels as a hand-tied bouquet, wrapped for the drive. All the recipient does is trim the stems and settle them into a vase of their own. Order before 3 PM and it can reach you the same day.

What you choose says as much as the card will. Whether it's a spring riot of peonies for a Roseland anniversary or a gentle white spray for someone keeping vigil, we'd rather build it for the day than off a list. Browse the full collection to see what's in season and what fits the moment you're marking.

Delivery zones

Cindy's Flowers brings hand-tied bouquets to every corner of Burlington, Ontario, from the Aldershot and Roseland lakeshore (postal prefixes L7L, L7R, L7S, L7T) up through Tyandaga and Brant Hills, and out to Millcroft, The Orchard and Alton Village in the north (L7M, L7N, L7P).

Because every bouquet is made fresh in Toronto and driven west along the QEW, timing matters. Place your order before 3 PM, Monday to Saturday, and we deliver the same afternoon. North-end addresses sit at the far end of the route, so ordering by mid-morning gives us the cushion to reach Alton Village and The Orchard before day's end.

The same QEW run also covers our neighbours either side of Burlington, so we deliver to Oakville just east and Hamilton around the bay to the west.
