Some bouquets are built; this one looks gathered. The Wildflower Meadow Bouquet is a loose, asymmetric hand-tied bunch of blue cornflowers, pink cosmos, purple scabiosa, white Queen Anne's lace and cheerful yellow billy buttons, with tall meadow grasses threading through the blooms. Nothing about it is stiff or symmetrical. The palette is bright meadow colour, blues against pinks, purple against yellow, and the grasses give it a movement most bouquets don't have.
Each one is hand-tied to order in our Toronto studio, so the stems arrive fresh and the shape keeps that just-picked looseness. It's the arrangement people reach for when roses feel too formal: a just-because surprise on an ordinary Tuesday, a housewarming gift for a first apartment, a pick-me-up for someone who keeps a garden or wishes they did.
